I am a Breast Surgical Oncologist with a passion for advancing healthcare through clinical care, research, and innovation. Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, I specialize in breast cancer treatment, radiation protection, and patient advocacy. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and earned my M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, where I was honored to be inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. I then completed my surgical training and fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Baylor University Medical Center. My dedication to improving safety in healthcare has led to groundbreaking research in breast cancer and radiation safety, including the development of the BAT™, an innovative radiation protection garment designed to reduce cancer risks for healthcare workers.

As the CEO and co-founder of ProtectMed, LLC, I blend my clinical expertise with business strategy, supported by my M.B.A. from American University’s Kogod School of Business. I’ve had the privilege of presenting research at international conferences, authoring peer-reviewed publications, and serving as a reviewer for the British Medical Journal. Currently, I lead as the Medical Director of Breast Surgery for Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group in Forth Worth, Texas, and mentor the next generation of surgeons as an Assistant Professor at TCU Burnett School of Medicine. My work is driven by a commitment to improving patient outcomes, fostering innovation, and creating meaningful change in the medical community.
